Nativo Hotel
The project was strategically placed within the tropical rainforest on Crasqui Island in Los Roques, Venezuela. This location provides naturalshade and protection from intense sunlight, taking advantage of the cool temperatures found within the rainforest canopy. The rainforests towering Tabaquillos and Mangrove trees, averaging 7 meters in height, offering ample space for the structures

The Challenge
To mitigate strong nighttime winds blowing from east to west, the project was situated on the western edge of the rainforest, utilizing the forest itself as a natural barrier. This positioning also allows for refreshing breezes from the beach, enhancing the comfort of the structures.
Materials & Innovation
The project utilizes GREEN FABRIC as its thermal and waterproof covering. This innovative material converts organic dirt into minerals and gas, ensuring a minimal environmental impact and aligning with the project's commitment to a respectful intervention.
